Project Overview
El Kharashy Contracting & Trading was commissioned to carry out a complete turnkey renovation of ICC Hospital, located in Smouha, Alexandria. The focus of the project was to upgrade the surgical and critical care environments with high-performance hygienic finishes, advanced infrastructure, and compliant medical installations, including preparation for a new cardiac catheterization lab.
Our Scope of Work
- Installation of antibacterial vinyl flooring with conductive properties suitable for surgical zones
- Saniclad UK antimicrobial wall cladding to ensure sterile, easily maintained surfaces
- Installation of hygienic doors in operating areas and sliding hygienic doors for the ICU
- Construction of concrete base platforms to support Cath Lab equipment installation
- Setup of a medical gas network for operating rooms and ICU needs
- Installation of lead-lined walls and doors for the cardiac catheterization room
- Application of antibacterial paints throughout all clinical areas
- Gypsum board ceilings designed for cleanroom and healthcare standards
- Wood wall cladding for selected interior areas to enhance visual comfort without compromising hygiene
Project Outcome
- The ICC Hospital renovation project successfully delivered a modern, fully compliant clinical environment equipped to handle advanced medical procedures. The turnkey nature of the project allowed El Kharashy to oversee and integrate every aspect from structure to medical readiness.
