Project Objective
El Kharashy Contracting & Trading was entrusted with a fast-track turnkey project for the expansion of the operating sector at the new Virgin Mary Hospital in Sidi Beshr. The project involved fully integrating a newly built structure with the existing hospital, delivering all architectural, structural, and MEP works with strict hygienic standards in just 3 months.
Our Scope of Work
- Full electrical network installed and integrated with the old hospital system
- Full plumbing network connection and extension from existing infrastructure
- Concrete paving (conch) across the entire extension area
- Installation of light current network systems
- Medical gas piping supply and installation across operating zones
- Complete air conditioning system supply and installation
- Gypsum board ceilings finished with antibacterial paints
- Installation of second category ceramic floors in appropriate areas
- Marble works for aesthetic and durable finishes
- Installation of Saniclad antimicrobial wall cladding
- Antistatic vinyl flooring for operating rooms
- Hygienic doors and electrical stainless steel operating doors
- Full lighting system supply and setup
- Bed-head units installation in patient and recovery rooms
- Fire alarm system and civil defense network integration
- Surveillance camera network for hospital security
- Antibacterial vinyl flooring throughout high-risk zones

- Radio link network installation to support internal communications
Project Outcome
