Project Objective
El Kharashy Contracting & Trading was selected to execute a sensitive and highly specialized integration project at Wekaya Hospital, aimed at seamlessly connecting a newly constructed hospital wing to the existing facility. The focus was on delivering a fully hygienic, functional, and operational extension that met advanced healthcare standards.
Our Scope of Work
- Antibacterial architectural modifications to ensure hygienic transition between the new and old buildings
- Complete plumbing network extension connected to the original systems
- Circulation system design across the full site to ensure efficient movement of staff, patients, and materials
- Concrete paving (conch) across the hospital site to support structural flow and logistics
- Installation of hygienic doors for operating rooms
- Hygienic doors installation for patient rooms
- Application of antibacterial paints on all interior walls
- Installation of painted gypsum board ceilings with antibacterial finishing
Project Outcome
- The Wekaya Hospital project successfully bridged the old and new structures into a unified, hygienic healthcare environment. El Kharashy’s work not only improved the operational capacity of the hospital but also ensured that all critical areas—particularly patient and surgical spaces—were compliant with modern hygienic standards.
